Wonderful experience all around from the greeting our group received on arrival to the very comfortable and stylish rooms .
Most of us had just arrived from long distance flights and after a very quick journey from london we trained to this idyllic hotel .
Front desk staff couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful and showed us to our rooms .
Once you get inside you’re met with a beautiful stylish modern room with a few old twists Beds bathroom all 10 out 10.
Had lunch in the bar areas and then ventured outside to the gorgeous town of ely .
Had a wonderful sleep that night and then was met with one of the best breakfast I’ve had in England all served with a smile by a wonderful server who looked as if she’d be a singer in Abba. Greats service with a smile.
Hotel manager was a very helpful and graceful lady .

Absolutely felt spoilt, lovely room with copper bath in bedroom - bathing whilst watching TV !! Lovely staff - all lovely and couldn't do enough (even took our bags to our room whilst we parked car which is a 5 minute walk away at car park) . The evening meal was gorgeous and breakfast was lovely too - thank you Poet's house and to all the sites to visit nearby on foot xx

Gorgeous suite and fabulous food, great service and had a lovely night away as a couple. Great service and the bath was fabulous! A lovely building modernised in a lovely way to have in in keeping with the age.

We stayed at this hotel and was very impressed with the check in and the staff. The room we had (No 16) had fabulous views of the cathedral and church. Room was stylish and clean, with excellent amenities.
Breakfast was to a high standard, book a early time to have a leisurely meal. Carpark is a good 5 minute walk, so drop cases off then take your vehicle.

All in all and fantastic break in a interesting and lovely city.

The staff who we interacted with were exceptional, our room was lovely with a great view to wake up to and breakfast was delicious. Even the car park was well thought out. Not a cheap stay but very good value for money

A lovely character property that has undergone modernisation. Lovely colours. Very clean and tidy. Lots of space to hang around and relax. The courtyard and outside seating areas were very nice also. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome.

Great Location lovely room
We booked a superior room with the bath in the room, we were not disappointed we overlooked the green and the views to the cathedral. Low level lighting provided a lovely room ambience, the bathroom was a nice size with a great shower. The bar area & dining room were very nice. The breakfast was really tasty lovely bacon and it all tasted fresh. Considering Covid -19 there was plenty of hand sanitiser around & everyone observing the rules.

The location is excellent and the grounds are very nice and welcoming especially with the beautiful weather during my stay. I didn’t get to use any facilities but judging by the amount of customers - it must be good. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. the staff were all super friendly and helpful - a credit to the hotel

Location by the cathedral is fantastic. Staff were excellent and very helpful and the food was very good. Recommend for a group occasion or a romantic evening.
