Thank you Christine, & your team, for making our wedding day truly memorable, the day was absolutely flawless, ran like clockwork & everyone had a fabulous time.
Right from the start Poets House catered to our every need & personalised the day for us, unlike other wedding venues Poets House (Christine) arranged everything the way we wanted it, with no set 'packages' to choose from.
The food, wine, garden, staff, table decorations, drinks and canapes looked & tasted fabulous, the flow of the day, with the use of the garden, couldn’t have been better.
Christine & her team liaised with our photographer (Chris Boland) and our florist (Wild Clover) all I had to do as, the bride, was turn up & say 'I do'!!
Fabulous location, fabulous food & drinks to choose from, and fabulous staff - I can't praise them enough!

My partner Sarah and I had our wedding reception here in June 2023. Christine and the team were brilliant in supporting our celebration. The venue was also very accessible for my mum who uses an electric wheelchair.

We held our amazing wedding at Poets House on Friday 26th May 2023. From booking we received a personal and professional service with fantastic attention to detail that made our day so perfect. Communication was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The Writing room was fantastic holding the ceremony, wedding breakfast and the evening celebration in this versatile space. The food was excellent and plentiful - catering for all needs. The bedrooms were fabulous, spacious and extremely comfortable (I managed to sleep the night before as the bed was so good).

We were married on the 6th June this year and we choose Poets House as the venue from the time we had the first meeting to the time we got married everything was perfect they could not do enough for us we had a couple of issues what arouse but I have to say the management team handled these very well and it did not ruin the day.
The food we had was amazing and we were catered for very well. We couldn't stay the night of the wedding but we were given a voucher to come back and say and we are very much looking forward to it.
The staff of the poet's house was amazing on the day we got married nothing was to much trouble for them and Christine the manager is amazing at what she does.

Just had our daughters wedding here on Friday and the day was amazing. Hotel did us proud the food was amazing the staff could not do enough for us and the lady who helped our daughter plan her wedding went above and beyond to make her day as special as it was. The Hotel and rooms are beautiful and would recommend this Hotel for a wedding a stay or just a drink and a meal would come back again and again for meal and drink. Following the wedding of Emma and Luke at the Poets House Hotel on 9th September, I'm writing to thank you and all your colleagues for providing the perfect venue for the occasion. It was a wonderful day and couldn't have gone better. Everyone involved at the Poets House Hotel was friendly, polite and efficient from the morning of the wedding right through to guests departing on the Sunday morning. On a personal note, I know that Emma and Luke very much appreciated your calm and reassuring support both beforehand and on the day. A special mention to thank Sarah for her help too, including getting the chairs and tables decorated. The food was delicious, and the waiting and bar staff were great.
